And most of us have some strain with it \u2014 eating too much, too little, over-thinking it, under-thinking it, or just not knowing what we\u2019re supposed to eat\u2026 food is hard.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Because we can have a strained relationship at any size\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overweight individuals can have an unhealthy relationship with food.<\/li>\n<li>Underweight individuals can have an unhealthy relationship with food.<\/li>\n<li>Healthy weight individuals can have an unhealthy relationship with food.<\/li>\n<li>And even health-nut gym-rats in perfect shape can have an unhealthy relationship with food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In many cases, an unhealthy relationship with food comes down to a preoccupation with it, good or bad\u2026 though this isn\u2019t always the case \u2014 individuals who \u201cnever think about food,\u201d are \u201cbored\u201d by food, or rarely get hungry also have an unhealthy relationship with it (especially if they become underweight.)<\/p>\n<p>So for this article, \u201cweight\u201d is of secondary, not primary, importance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Food is hard, man.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":181,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[8,9,10],"class_list":["post-333","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-set-design","tag-empathy","tag-politics","tag-tech"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.6 -
