On April 14, 2025, I had the honour of photographing Julien & Josee’s wedding at the breathtaking Barcelo Maya resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico—and it was a first for me in more ways than one. Not only was it my first time capturing a destination wedding, but it was also the first time I photographed a family member’s wedding, which made the entire experience feel extra meaningful and personal.
