Lehel Kelemen is a Hungarian photographer and a leukemia survivor born and raised in Transylvania, the region that was put on the map of fashion photography by the likes of Andre de Dienes, Brassaï, and Martin Munkácsi.
After getting his BA degree in Fine Art Photography from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Lehel moved to London and worked under the guidance of Dan Beleiu and Marton Perlaki, working in state-of-the-art studios and gaining a thorough understanding of the world of fashion photography.
In his work, he seeks to portray beauty in a simple, very natural, and minimal way, while mixing commercial and non-commercial features as an identification of his style.
