I’m Katie, and photography is all I’ve ever done. I live and breath it!
I am 37, mama to Hugh & Elliot (the most photographed kids of all time), and devoted wife to Richard. Doing a job that I love is the best decision I’ve ever made. I am so thankful and proud of the creative life I live.
Within photography I love working with incredible couples and their families. I feel so privileged to play such a significant part of this special day in people’s lives, and I just love getting to know your favourite people, and hearing of your incredible love story.
I photographed my first wedding when I was 20 (17 years ago – yikes), and have never looked back. The honour and enjoyment to be part of such a soulful day is a hugely rewarding gift.
I aim to project the atmosphere of the day and the personality of my clients through my photography. I want to entirely capture the day as it occurred, step by step so that you can both re-live your day over and over again in an authentic raw way. Its so important for me also that my clientèle to enjoy their wedding day to the full, it is hugely important to me that they have the best day of their lives.
I have a natural style of photography, with a feminine romantic touch. I take on all ideas and suggestions thrown my way, and aim to use my creative flare to create imagery that will be unique to you! It’s not unusual for me to hear ‘were not very photogenic’, or ‘we don’t like having our picture taken, and rarely have any photographs together’. I totally understand how overwhelming it must feel, and I want you to enjoy the time with me as much as possible trusting that I will do you proud! If you look through my testimonials I am told it is my strength to make clients feel comfortable so that photographs can look as natural as possible.
I edit a handful of images within 24hrs of your wedding so that you can have a sneak peak of how amazing you looked on your wedding day, and to feel all the feels! The day passes by in a euphoric blur, I just love showing my clients how incredible their day was with some of my favourite photographs from the day.
